Staffing Needed For The HOS 500, 2009
Prior to the Race
Mark the turns for the entire course, 20 hours estimated. I will pay for paint,
gas, food and motel. This has to be done in early March to ensure the route
is still usable. I sometimes ride the route painting it, it takes four days,
if you want to do that with me I welcome the company.

Staffing Needed for Heart of the South 200
I usually start the 500 and then travel the entire route taking
pictures so I need a person to be in charge all day, take the 4 AM
registrations, start the event and supervise the sag volunteers,
be at the finish to record times, direct them to the shower, etc.
I pay for all expenses, you can choose to be paid or obtain free
goods. We will negotiate.
Head Dude or Dudette. 4 AM till the finish.

We need three sag wagon folks. This job is to stock up with water,
fruit, etc. and jump ahead of the riders waiting for them to arrive.
As the day goes on the riders stretch out so more are needed to catch
them all. The times for each are below. You will need your own vehicle
that is capable of putting one or two bikers in it in case someone
wants to DNF. This has happened twice with the event. You must also
be sure all riders have passed by you, or go find them. The first
two will leapfrog up to Cheaha, the third will catch the riders after
that. I pay for gas, food, expenses that are reasonable. The head
person could be the first sag wagoneer and then loop back for the
finish.
